About the Program
Confirmation
Your teen begins to learn how Jesus calls them to use their talents for a greater mission. They will be able to explore their faith through a youthful lens, build community, deepen their prayer life, and engage in community service. The first year is called Pre-Confirmation, and the second year is called Confirmation.
Preparation Steps
How to prepare
Visit Director of Religious Education, Mrs. Wendy Rutherford
Go in person to St. Mary Hall, 2530 Church Ave, Brooklyn. She will register your teen and guide you through the preparation process.
Year 1 — Pre-Confirmation
Your teen explores their faith, builds community, deepens their prayer life, and engages in community service.
Year 2 — Confirmation
Your teen continues preparing to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit and learns how Jesus calls them to use their talents for a greater mission.
Celebrate Confirmation
Confirmation is celebrated at Holy Cross with family, sponsors, and the parish community.
